Dr. james h. Patrick
Dr. Patrick, a native of Uniontown, AL, attended Hatch High School. Dr. Patrick went on to study at Alabama St, Ohio St, and Georgia St, where he earned his doctoral degree. Dr. Patrick has had successful careers in education, coaching, and corporate america. Dr. Patrick began his career as a high school teacher and basketball coach. Early in his career he won a state title with South Girard School out of Phenix City, AL. Dr. Patrick went on to have a successful coaching career, eventually reaching the college ranks as the Head Coach of Ft. Valley State College. Dr. Patrick career as an administrator was just as successful by eventually becoming the Asst. Superintendent of Schools for Muscogee County followed by a position as the Superintendent of Schools for Macon County in Alabama. Dr. Patrick awards include, Alabama State Coach of the Year, Region Basketball Coach – 3 times, Leadership Columbus Inductee, Columbus Times “Citizen of the Year", MCSD - Administrator of the Year, Progressive Men – Man of the Year, and Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame
JAMES ELLIOTT "ELI" PATRICK
Elliott Patrick, also known as "Eli", was born and raised in Columbus, GA where he attended Spencer High School. Elliott went on to study at Florida A&M, Troy St., Regent University, and The Army War College. He has a Bachelor’s in Health and P.E., Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and a Master’s in Strategic Studies. Elliott started his career in his father foot steps as a teacher and basketball coach at South Girard School, however his coaching stint was cut short by orders from the United States Army to go active duty. Elliott recently retired as a Colonel after 31 years of service with time on Active Duty, in the National Guard and Army Reserves with deployments to Iraq and Haiti. After Elliott's service obligation on active duty he went on to coach at the high school ranks at Druid Hill High School in Atlanta, GA. Once again cut short by military orders, Elliott would eventually switch careers while serving the military stateside and now works as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. Elliott has continued serving the community through his fraternity and coaching AAU basketball. Elliott's awards include, Premier Award Winner (4), District Representative of the Year, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (4), Army Commendation Medals (4), Army Achievement Awards (2), National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and UN Medal.
